The First
So there you have it. I have Blues join this Web site for this team-blog thingy. We can call it our joint where we can hang out daily, weekly or monthly — however the individual sees fit. The idea was floated by our old friend Zen over an IM conversation. So the people who're yet to respond are Zen, Tara, Sandy, Pompy and Jo. We're waiting people, don't be slacking so much, hi! I'd also love to have Nobody join us, but I have no means to contact him. Maybe Sandy can help with that by convincing him, that is if she likes the idea herself.
All of us started off blogging around the same time, around the Summer of 2003 or before, and among other things the most striking similarity we have (or maybe had) was the love for music — like Zen and Nobody are darn good critics themselves. Some of us are musicians, like Blues, or some of us tried to learn to be — me, Tara, Sandy and Pompy.
So lemme lay down the law (I love my power, yay!):
- Everyone who joins would be made an admin to give him/her full access and rights to this blog — lol, yea I guess I wanted to point my finger at Sandy for never making me a moderator for her Yahoo group — aye, it's just a bribe to get people more excited about the product!!
- Like the title says, anything can go here. However, people should try to leave out the technical stuff as much as they can. Or if they just can't do without it, well, explain it to the people who might not be as smart as you are, smartass!!
- Members can swear as much as they see fit and we can call it unlimited swearing — yep there's no term like "up to" here.
- I guess, thats all for now.
Over to Blues for his comments and criticism of my idea (If you humiliate me publicly, you are dead man 'not' walking. That's all for now. Adios!!
P.S. --> OK, so I have this bad habit of putting name of songs, albums or lyrics for my post titles, and most of the time not mentioning what the fuck it is. Well, they are always whatever's in my current playlist while I type the post. So here you have it: The First is a song by this Canadian band Tegan and Sara from their album The Business of Art.

lol Blues! I have a better idea: We can go kidnap Rohit if Sandy ignores us for too long. That has to work. or even better if we then get Rohit to blog here and we cancel Sandy's invite... hahahahaha!!!! That'd surely teach her a lesson!!

well, I've been wanting to kidnap Rohit and leave him in an abandoned godown in Noida for some time now ... always have had the biggest crush on Sandy.
And it's good to see that Ms. Bhowmik has emerged from hibernation. Hello to you too Pompy!
btw A, I wanna know more about Open Source - can you suggest some good sites for beginners?
